Recycling the bags and fadges 

To reduce the impact on the environment Latitude^®recycles the polythene bags.  If your bags are in reasonable condition after the product has been removed and you would like us to re-use them please pack them up and phone us on ph 0800 788 889 and we will arrange to have them collected for re-use by ourselves.

As you will see from the fadges they have been used many times.  In fact we receive our raw wool in these and then use them to transport the product to our customers.  These fadges are great for storing weeds and garden waste.  

Product recycling and re-use

If you have left over insulation at the end of your job then here are some suggestions;

• Put it in your ceiling space.  Most of the energy from a home is lost through the ceiling and the more insulation up there the better.
• Use it to wrap around your hot water cylinder
• Applied thickly to the base of your trees and or vines it is a useful bio-degradable weed suppressant.  It will eliminate light and ultimately degrade adding fibre and structure to your soil.
• Applied thinly and blended in with your soil it will act as a soil conditioner and fertiliser.  Wool is high in Nitrogen and acts as a slow release fertliser.
• There is some interesting research which indicates wool fertliser can increase the oil output of some crops such as Lavender.  If you are interested please contact graeme (at) latitudeinsulation.com
